In February and March of 2024, the Bankruptcy Court held a hearing to consider the confirmation of a chapter 11 plan proposed by the Genesis Debtors (the “Debtors’ Plan”). The Bankruptcy Court has not yet approved an order confirming the Debtors’ Plan, however, to expedite the receipt of potential distributions by creditors, the Genesis Debtors and their advisors have begun to take steps to enable distributions as promptly as possible following the Bankruptcy Court’s approval of a chapter 11 plan. To that end, Kroll Restructuring Administration, the Genesis Debtors’ claims and noticing agent, has set up this portal to assist you with providing updated banking information.
If you would like to receive a dollar denominated distribution by electronic transfer, log in to this portal by entering your email and unique identifier, as set forth in the email Kroll sent to you, and submit the below wire information. Please note the deadline to make a submission has been extended to May 31, 2024.
-
- your wire instructions (i.e., your account name, account number, bank name, ABA or SWIFT code, and any further credit instruction), together with
- your bank’s wire instruction reference letter (or copy of a cancelled check or screenshot of your banking platform with their account information).
Note that your Unique Identifier(s) can only be used once to submit the required information.
If your Unique Identifier Type is your taxpayer id number, your drivers license number, or your passport number, please enter your Unique ID on this portal without any spaces, dashes, or other special characters. If you received a Unique ID from the Kroll Team, please enter your Unique ID exactly as it was provided to you, with dashes.
For creditors who do not provide the requested information in the time required, or choose not to do so, distributions will not be able to be made by electronic transfer and will be made by physical check to your addresses on file. Completion of this process is not required for those who prefer to receive distributions by physical check.
